Reverse Advent “Calendar” – Instead of receiving something, we’re giving each day by collecting non-perishable food items, to donate to the Genesis Center food pantry. You may drop items off at the church weekly, in our special Advent collection basket, or bring them in the Christmas season.

Christmas Day Open House – Many of our neighbors don’t have family they’re able to spend time with at Christmas, so this year we’re hosting a simple “open house” at St. Simon’s on Christmas Day. Following the Christmas Day worship service at 10 a.m., we’ll keep the church open until 3 p.m., with food, conversation, and games in the parish hall. Rather than a big dinner, we’ll have some simple food options, such as soup and snacks. Our hope is to offer a positive, loving place for people to be together. If you can help by bringing food items, preparing the space, or being present Christmas Day, contact Br. Raphael or Mo. Twila.
